Yellow Bear Records is dedicated to reissuing significant albums that made music history. Our mission is to offer high-quality vinyl records at affordable prices, enriching the listening experience on any audio system and making collectors’ hearts beat faster.

Yellow Bear Records was founded in 2025 by Björn Weiler-Huang. As a passionate vinyl enthusiast, he found himself in a constantly growing market, but in most cases, the offerings did not meet his expectations in terms of either quality or content. While reissues of major bestsellers appear at very short intervals in overly elaborate production formats at exorbitant prices, they often show no discernible difference even on well-maintained and high-quality systems. At the same time, it is almost impossible to find other genre-defining albums, some of which were not blockbusters in their time, in adequate quality at all.
We have therefore particularly dedicated ourselves to the following attributes:

• Selection

Yellow Bear Records aims to make albums available again that have shaped a genre or an era. In doing so, we do not want to be driven by cheap licenses or operate exclusively within the mainstream. However, we also don’t want to exclude the mainstream. Our reissues are meant to surprise and spark curiosity. They should be fun to discover and rediscover.

• Quality

Yellow Bear Records aims to develop the best balance between high-quality production and an acceptable pricing policy. We want our customers to find vinyl pressings with us that allow newcomers and those returning to fall in love with an album again, and enable enthusiasts to discover new favorites for their collections. For this, we collaborate with the best mastering studios, sound engineers, and pressing plants. We meticulously accompany the production process from start to finish and place great importance on quality control. This applies to the sound, but equally to the feel. A record cover represents the most substantial packaging in recorded music. Here too, we pay close attention to production quality.

• Exclusivity

Apart from the joy of music, we want our customers to be able to quickly build an impressive collection of genre-defining albums with their discoveries from Yellow Bear Records. Exclusivity is important to us. However, this should not be reflected in access, but in high-quality production. Therefore, Yellow Bear Records is not a club that secures regular purchases of productions with subscription fees and terms. We believe in our releases. However, all releases will be limited. The number of pressings will always be transparently displayed and… when it’s gone, it’s gone and won’t come back.

• Made in Germany

Yellow Bear Records produces exclusively in Germany. Here we have the opportunity to accompany the entire production process. At the same time, we believe in this production location with pressing plants and studios that do not have to shy away from international comparison. Additionally, we can ensure the shortest delivery routes, both for lacquer cutting and for the finished vinyl. Naturally, we also meet all requirements to ensure worldwide sales and shipping.
